There are 2 gaskets in case you take the brake backing plate off and want to 
replace the one that is on the other side as well. There should also be 2 
black O-rings;

There's a good exploded view on page 5 of the Bentley MT chapter. It shows 
several washers.

In general, there are almost always a step that any given seal should be 
seated up against. This assures that the seal is in there square, as it won't 
work nearly as well if it is tilted, even slightly.
