There are 2 gaskets in case you take the brake backing plate off and want to replace the one that is on the other side as well. There should also be 2 black O-rings; There's a good exploded view on page 5 of the Bentley MT chapter. It shows several washers. In general, there are almost always a step that any given seal should be seated up against.
