So...I replaced my possibly frozen right front caliper with the one Jim sent me. Thought I'd try to swap out the brake hose too to be sure I'd done everything in my power, but the union between the hose and the line was frozen stiff and I was reluctant to use a torch near all those gas lines. Bled the brakes. I think. What a hellish experience. I know it shouldn't have been difficult, but I kept forgetting to close the valve at the right time and open it at the right time and I kept letting air get sucked back in. I finally got it but it took forever. But then again, I probably didn't get it. The left (left means left) side of the brake fluid reservoir never looked like it filled up, but I kept topping it off the brake fluid. Now it doesn't look full at all on that side, although there was certainly fluid coming out the hoses when I pumped the brakes. And it had been ok before. And I am getting front braking action, only now, the car lists right. I am leaving for Canada Saturday in this baby, but I will try to check my email there every now and then. That right brake emitted tiny champagne bubbles for SOOOOooooo long. Jim - got the temp sensor, thanks. Will install in Canada. By the way, got my front end alignment. Amazing how different it feels.
