Hello,

Please accept our apologies for the mail server being down
again today. It should be back up now and mail service
should return to normal over the next few hours.

Here is the problem with our current mail server (and why
it keeps going down): It is overloaded. There are too many
email addresses it is trying to handle. For this reason we
will be adding a new mail server in the next 10-14 days. We
will send all clients a notice exactly when this takes
place. This new mail server will cut the load in half and
should greatly improve email performance. It will have the
same configuration as the present mail server so there will
be no need to change any settings.

Again we apologize about the poor performance of the
current mail server. After 10-14 days, when the new mail
server is installed, we should be able to better handle the
email needs of our clients. Please let us know if you have
further questions.

Hello,

Yesterday, a number of people posting to the list
'type3@vwtype3.org' were receiving bounces with the error:

553 5.3.5 system config error

See the sample included below.

Is this a known issue to you folks? Has it been solved?
Is it related to mail.vwtype3.org being down a couple of
times over the past couple of days?

Thanks!
