I'm certain it is supposed to go on dry and clean, unless you are building a
performance motor. If so, I would use loctite, the strongest I could.

For 7 bucks I rented a 3/4 drive breaker and socket, my buddy came
over to hold onto the motor and walla, she's off! Of course this
leads to another question. There was locktite on there, should I
reassemble with loctite or grease? If loctite, should I use temp
(blue) or permanent (red)?
