But then how do I set my timing for Sophy? Just set it for 7.5 BTDC at idle with the vacuum hose off. And then doesn't it stay there? How would I get the 28 degrees total advance or so that everyone talks about. Does the vacuum advanced give it that much? Should I be timing it like a 71 since the cam, carnk, and dzzy driveshaft are from my 71? SHold I throw in the 71 dizzy? I should mention that she ran good with this dizzy in the original 1966 single port engine that was in her before this weekend. Any insight appreciated.
