I think the aprons are specific to each car. I bought a NOS rear apron in CT for my Fastback and the upper portion was indeed different. I brought pictures to the Woodstock show and compared them to Keith's Notch and a 70 Fastback in the parking lot and it was a match for the Notch. Ended up selling it to a listee for what I paid for it, ($200). I'm pretty sure that $400 apron is for a a Fastback.
