Stick your finger behind the brake pedal and find the rubber boot that the 
push rod disappears into. Run your finger all the way to the bottom near the 
front (front is front.) If it comes out wet, then the MC is leaking. It may all be 
dispursed by now, but if the paint on the floor is all crinkled up then this is 
also a sign of what brake fluid can do.

Of course it could also be water that has been leaking in the fresh air vent.

Where are they? Near the battery? If so, they are part of the long-unused 
dealer computer diagnostic system.

Russ, when did the dealers stop using those? Did the mechanics like them 
or were they just an annoyance?
