<x-charset iso-8859-1>Brian, try a straight 30W instead; it sounds like your oil is just losing its viscosity; I recommend Valvoline. I wouldn't worry about the light flicker at idle if the engine was recently rebuilt, because that just indicates heat generated from parts that haven't "broken in" yet. If its a high mileage engine, you probably are suffering from some oil pressure loss. More details could help us help you. If the light stays on, you have reason to worry; like Brian said, check the sender, but its likely just the viscosity of the oil. Don't forget to check your cooling tin, make sure there are no clogs in the cooling vents, and make sure your cooling rubber is in place properly. If you think you're engine is running warm, make sure it isn't running lean, or that the timing is too advanced. Just passing along good advice from others.
