I suppose this is possible, and I certainly would have no way of knowing, but 
my Bosch (USA) FI parts listing shows no VW D-Jetronic after 73. It could 
be wrong, but they're usually not.

Could this be like the mythic 914 automatic transmission: It's in the parts 
list, but no one has ever seen one?
