<x-charset iso-8859-1>I agree.. I must have had the wrong image in my head or read part of a
reply.
constricted hoses will give you a stiffish pedal down to a certain point
where it gets firm, and will make the rear brakes apply more slowly than the
front.  When my hoses were constricted I still had no trouble with the
brakes releasing, but the pedal felt as described above..
