[T3] The life of a T3 fender...:)

HMMMM....I am replacing the back right quarter wing on my 66 Sunroof Fasty 
and got tickled about how many times the fender has been repainted.  The 
colors are in this order....VW blue, lime green, yellow, then red.  The many 
coats of paint would deflect any rock from denting the fender...:)  Anyone 
want a multicolor beat up passenger side fender????
