<x-charset iso-8859-1>Its definatly a 62 by the pics. The large 1500 and the white shift knob give it away. He wants $2400 for it. I tell you what if I had the $ I would get it. Thats a very compleet 62! I have spent 4 years and am up to $3900 restoring a basket case 62 I found in Seattle. I will have to spend at least another 2k to get it where I want. Im talking stock restored. The rear trunk on this car looks great! When is the last time anyone saw those rear side covers in good shape, let alone the mat and the fiber board under it! Orig tools and spare. Motor looks all there. Mold growing on vynl will leave a stain but is not groving out of the vynl itself. The dust or bio-film on the seat is supporting that life. So it should wipe off. The only thing I dont like about the guy is his lack of knowledge on the car. How many does he have? and he guesess on the facts...... fishy. Simon I cant belive you sold the car for so cheap! At least by US standards. I would of bought it up for that and paid the ship and still been ahead. Oh well save me the next one. If you dont mind the work, I think this is a good candidate Joe. late Jason Weigel http://www.ixpres.com/hedges/nona.html ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joe McGill" <jmcgill89@hotmail.com> To: <type3@vwtype3.org> Sent: Monday, January 28, 2002 4:15 AM Subject: [T3] Notch on Ebay (possible bid) > Hello all, > > Have any of you looked at the Texas based Notchback on Ebay.
