[T3] Another oil leak problems

<x-charset iso-8859-1>My wife’s 73 Square seems to have sprung a leak.  It seems to leak on the
left side the left (or driver side) CV boot and drive shaft is wet as is the
shock.

 I have been following the oil leak mystery string and I don’t believe it is
X-mission fluid. It’s somewhat dirty under there and it doesn’t seem red.  I
have a hard time getting an accurate transmission level reading, as the
stick just seems to have fluid down the one side of it. Any tricks on
getting a better reading?  I added a small amount of fluid to it.

The engine oil was a little low less than one third below the top line.
This is not a big leak but it does drip in the driveway. The top part of the
engine seems dry around the oil cooler. It seems quite wet around the
flywheel area. I suspect this could be a main bearing seal. Any help in this
area would be greatly appreciated.
