<x-charset iso-8859-1>I have one, the Bug-Pak. It's several years old and they no longer make it.
When working it works GREAT! But it failed once on me and cost about $35 to
repair ("power transistor" replacement). Worked again for a while but has
failed me again and is gonna cost ~$33 (quote from back in March) to have
checked out. I'm thinking of going to a Compu-fire distributorless system
since the guys I've talked to who use it have great things to say about it.
Jacobs' new products are probably better now but this unit, at $250 when I
bought it new, shouldn't be breaking down in the first place. Right now I'm
using a stock Bosch coil and stock plug gaps. When my Jacobs was working I
found .045" to be a perfect gap (the Compu-fire will be the same gap).

Continuing on the pointless ignition them...
First:
I haven't seen anyone mention the Jacob's system. Anyone have it and/or have
any thoughts on it?
