Can you still get the good German ball joints (I forget the brand...) at that 
price?

I thought that the quality of the OEM joints of both styles was the same, but 
that the early ones with the lube fitting had a longevity edge. Overlubing 
these will destroy them, however, if the boot breaks and admits water and 
dirt.
