Are fiberglass pans good for the repair ? Econo VWS and T3d have metal ones but are$$$$$ .Innovations in fiberglass have inexpensive ones but are fiberglass . any sugestions? Tim O'Neal 70 Fastback 62 Met For years I have been meaning to try fiberglas floor pans, because they don't rust. The most non-appealing things that I have to say about them are their inability to be welded back in and their lack of metal frames for the seats to ride on. But there must be something to them, or Innovations In Fiberglas wouldn't sell them. I have made up my mind that the next car that I own that needs new floor pans will get fiberglas ones. There must be a way to install the floor pans without welding. And there must be a way to install metal seat frames along with them.
