hi all. Picked up our new squareback yesterday - 1969 w/ automatic transmission. Runs OK, looks good, wife loves it (it's her car - it was her idea! how lucky am I?). But the way the AT works, I'm not quite sure it's right. I wonder if any of you with AT cars now (or past experience) would write me, either on-or off-list, and share stories - what sounds does yours make going up thru the gears? Does yours do anything weird or "special" when shifting between park/reverse/drive? Any special procedures you've developed for negotiating stop lights or slow-n-go traffic? Vaccum fittings & such that you keep a particularly close eye on?
