Hey about a year ago a good friend if mine and I decided to
put a 2.3 Ford turbo into his 67 bug. It absolutly screams! after that I
started building a hp 2.3 off of a junkyard engine from a tbird to go into my
bug. The problem is the 1835 in the bug is just fine and dandy, and the fact
is I just got a $100 squareback the bodys good and the interior is ok but the
engines shot. I havnt seen a 2.3 turbo in a type 3 before but I know that
with minimal cutting and welding it can be done. My question is has anyone
seen or done this project or done it in the past. please tell me any where I
can find the little details, and if you have any comments or info please post
them. thanks
