I don't know if this will work, I've never done it. The clear lower section is a 
separate part, glued to the red upper half. In theory it should be possible to 
split the bond line and glue a new part on. Since you have a broken one, 
could you grind/sand down to the bond line and then do the same with the 
other piece.  

Ordinary glues won't touch this stuff, but there is a plastics supply house 
here that has some good plastic cement that I have used for similar parts. If 
you can find such a place they might be able to recommend a good cement. 
Be sure to use a cement that dries clear. If you do this, make sure that the 
finished lens ends up with a flat surface where it mates to the taillight body.  

If you do this, let us know how it turns out.  

Otherwise, I have some good used lenses.
