I was thinking someone might know what those body numbers were *originally*
used or reserved for, probably in the '46-'55 period.

SimonG=> "Type35" is the ill-fated Type3 Cabriolet

 That would still be some variation on 31, wouldn't it? The Ghia cabrios
were
 341 and 342.
