Re: [T3] Brake Caliper Question

<x-flowed>I had just ordered a set of calipers for my 68 Fastback.
I got them from RMMW.
They were new ATE calipers. They look exactally the same as the old ones. The only difference I saw was that the bolts holding the calipers together were threaded into the other half, instead of having a nut on the other end. 

I cant imagine how these could be inferior in any way.

Hi Jim, thanks for checking that for me. When you say that the earlier are
better than their replacements, do you mean better than the late style VW
calipers?- or will these original late style calipers be better than the ATE 
ones I've been offered. I can't find a listing anywhere in my usual sources
for the late calipers' rebuild kits- perhaps I would have to look for a T4
specialist?
