Where can I locate a good oil cooler for a 69 fastback
(with carbs)??? anyone have one for sale, do they make
new ones??

Oil coolers are identical for T1's and T3's. It's the horizontal placement
that you need to worry about. Take out three bolts from a T-1 oil cooler, and
you have a T'-3 oil cooler. But, you must re-use the T-3 parts that make it a
horizontal oil cooler.
RMMW sells the oil coolers for about $80. I don't know where you can get the
parts
that make the cooler fit horizontally. But with any luck, you can simply
re-use those parts from your T-3 engine.
RMMW also sells oil cooler testers. Usually, the oil cooler doesn't go bad.
It just springs a leak around the gasket.
