<x-charset iso-8859-1>Robb, the best thing to do is to set the engine at TDC for #1, then make sure the rotor is pointing to your #1 plug wire. Then in a clockwise direction install the other wires as such: 1 > 4 > 3 > 2. Your dizzy cap should look something like this from the top: (3) (2) O (4) (1) And your cylinders should look like this from the top: 3 [ ] 1 4 [ ] 2 Don't forget: to set the engine at TDC for #1, turn the engine clockwise until the intake valve opens and begins to close. Just when the #1 intake valve begins to close, look for the timing mark approaching the top of the pulley. Turn the engine until the timing mark is North (up) and you're at #1 TDC The rotor should be pointing toward #1 plug wire now and the "groove" in the top of the dizzy should be near #1.
