<x-charset iso-8859-1>> three plug ends with strange bulbous rubber bits on the end of the bakelite sockets. They seal the insulator part of the spark plug like the older w/c VWs do. People with dry climates (hot or cold) don't know how useful they are. We've had it foggy after prolonged freezing temps and I had to put a charger on my SB to lift the volts a bit to get it to start after a few days of inactivity. Maybe a battery younger than 8 years or a carb full of fuel would have made it start before reserves of power were depleted though! It did at least chuff the odd time, whereas the upright engined camper didn't do anything apart from churn (almost as old a battery and certainly ready for a service). Dave.
