just dont set the compression TOO low. on a 2110cc type3 engine 8:1 should work well on the street. if you run super low compression(like gene berg would suggest to you) the engine is very difficult to tune and usually runs very rich. and yes you can run dual weber IDFs or dellorto DRLAS on a type3 and have it fit under the engine lid. CB performance and a few other companies make special manifolds to fit IDF/DRLA carbs under a type3 lid. on that engine make sure you have good heads that are PORTED so you can get maximum power out of it. for a 2110 street engine 42mm intake valves and 37mm exhaust valves should work well, an engle W120 cam will give you a good bottom end and midrange powerband on an engine that big, 44mm weber IDFs or 45mm dellortos would work well. exhuast will likley require removing the rear apron. dont run quiet packs on an engine this big run one of the new turbo muffler setups(like a dynomax). they are easy to recognize they look like a HUGE quiet pack __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
