Hey all, Ive been planing on putting a new engine in my car and was
wondering if any of you have any ideas(good or bad) about bernie bergman
engines, I havent heard anybody talking badly about them and was
wondering about the quality. Or if anyone has any other ideas about a
good quality engine to put in my fasty. I'm planing on going with a 2110.
As always any help is very apreciated

I presume that you mean a "fastback" rather than a bus. If you mean a "bus",
you are
probably spinning your wheels because of low transmission gearing. Assuming
that you mean a "fastback", the Bergman engine may be OK, provided that you
are not
planning on long life of the engine. 2,110 cc is a bit much for long life ...
maybe 1,776
cc maximum for reasonable life. You want it to cool, don't you? Of course,
you could
install a Porsche fan, but not easily in a fastback.
