If moving the connection made a difference, however, you probably did not really need to replace the injector itself. The problem is that later injectors seem to actually use contact material which is slightly thinner than the original. The female contacts in the connector will be loose on these. The fix is to disassemble the connector and squeeze the female pins VERY SLIGHTLY so that they grip the injector pins snugly.
