<x-charset Windows-1252>>>a PO converted the front brakes to discs already, so that's not a concern, either. 67 had disk on them from the factory. I have had several automatics and several sticks. It would be in your best interest to find a donor automatic to have at your place when you do the conversion. I might add that this is no small undertaking. I have done several conversions from automatic to stick and that in itself is a chore. you would have to weld motor supports to the body in the motor compartment and bolt on an IRS rearend. you could get it done within a few days with the proper tools , all the parts and a welder. another option would be to just trade your car for an automatic car. Also be aware that as nice as auto trannies are , they are expensive to have rebuilt. mine was gonna cost $1000 so I just converted it to a stickshift. Hope this helps, good luck, Bryan ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe? mailto:type3-request@vwtype3.org, Subject: unsubscribe </x-charset>
