> Does anybody have any suggestions for where to take the car > for quality body work and paint? They live in Fremont in Seattle. > Thanks! -Sammy '69 Square in Seattle ---------------------------------------- Wherever your sister ends up, I'd be interested in her feelings, as I'm a Seattle resident too. I have never had any Seattle area body work or paint done, but have been saving up for a paint job. Sorry if this is more self fullfilling than of actual assistance to your sister. I'd have her try the following: If insurance will cover it - this is probably the spot: Bernard Import Bodyworks 223 8th Avenue North 206-382-0921 Paul Weir Service & repair for all porsches (air & water cooled) state on their web page: "For top-quality body repair, restoration and painting, our arrangement with Bernard's Import Bodyworks ensures that we'll baby-sit your Porshce all the way through." Repair Programs: Statefarm 1stop, Geico select/Image Mate, Colonial Penn/G.E., Firemans Fund C.L.A.S.S., Pemco. otherwise, have her give a call to: Wolfsburg Motorworks 1149 Northwest 52nd Street 789-0182 They care about air cooled VW's - they do quality engine work - again, not sure of their body/paint abilities. Ye Olde VW Lot: 9105 Lake City Way NE 206-522-1112 They always have a really nice ghia parked out front. If they won't do the work, they should be able to suggest a good spot. -Dana '71 FB
