Only to responses to this, but here goes....

If you pull off the rubber bumpers on the rear axle, you will find that they were 
held in place by little hollow steel mushrooms. There is often one of those 
white translucent plastic plugs inside each one, one per side.

The mushrooms are just a few inches from the wheel cylinders.
