<x-charset iso-8859-1>Hmm, okay, some possibilities ruled out. My foam is gone as well and the car has spent the majority of her life in the wet Pacific northwest. I think it's just the material itself that is bad. I wonder if there's a substitute we could stuff in there? Something, of course, that will allow air to flow because this is the location where the flow-through exits the cabin. Though I don't have the exhaust smell (could be because of my rag top) I sometimes get water coming through the top interior opening when I am going fast.
