I've spoken with, that VWoA wants to forget it's
aircooled past and wants everybody else to do the same.
Hence all the BS they dish out about copyrights, etc.
You can bet if websites promoted "new" VW technology,
they would not be as down on it. How else can you
explain a major car maker not producing parts anymore
for a market that is still HUGE worldwide. I can go
into the chevy dealer and still get parts for a 65
Impala, yet you can't go into your local VW dealer
and get much of anything for a 79 Beetle Conv. You
think about it.
