<x-charset iso-8859-1>Hi Ken, I ran 195 60 15's on all four corners for nine years and the handling was excellent. These were fitted to 15x6 inch rims but due to the large offset of the wheels I ran and the fact my Type3 is lowered I had to trim the arches, less offset would avoid this problem. cheers, Dan (currently in the process of fitting 17x7.5's...) ---- -----Original Message----- From: Ken Simons [mailto:illusioneer_ken@yahoo.com] Sent: Wednesday, February 13, 2002 10:42 PM To: type3@vwtype3.org Subject: [T3] Tire sizes I need some input on tire size for my Squareback. She has been lowered substationally. Right now she has 185/60/15's, which I'm looking to replace. They are available, but 195/60/15's are alot more common. Does anybody have any expierence with these. The 195's are only 10mm wider. I have stock rims. Also, she has 65r15's on the back and I would like to run the same size all the way around. Thanks Ken. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Send FREE Valentine eCards with Yahoo!
