Let's not forget Idaho in the Northwest region. While sadly there is not a
large type 3 showing here in the Boise area, there is a very large Type 1
and Type 2 showing. In fact, the local VW Club here is called "Bus Pilots
Association". I live in Boise just off I-84 and within ½ mile of my house
there are at least 9 bugs, 2 busses and my two type 3's that are here. I
have two other type 3's sitting in Mt. Home, about 50 miles away just
waiting for more room at the house. I just need to get rid of the Volvo and
the Type 2 now. The great thing about most of the cars here in Boise is that
we are in a desert environment. Not a lot of rain, and they use cinders on
the road instead of salt. Helps to preserve our cars.
