<x-charset iso-8859-1>Hello, The page that Toby Erkson is what I used as a basis for the conversion on my square and my brothers fasty. The one thing to do different is use a steel tube, half inch outside diameter, for the clutch tube rather than copper like on the web page. once you have the tube in and welded at the back on the frame and in the tunnel by the pedals you will have to "thin"(grinding , filing) the part of the tube that the bowden tube slips on , you can also drill out the inside of the tip of the bowden tube a little so that it will slide onto the clutch tube properly. I am still using my auto tranny carpet and it looks fine, so you wont have to replace you carpet unless you want to. If you have any questions just mail me. ---Bryan www.mvwe.org ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe? mailto:type3-request@vwtype3.org, Subject: unsubscribe </x-charset>
