Re: T3's in the NW

<x-charset iso-8859-1>One of the first things on my worry list when moving to the Pacific North
West was a lack of the VW scene. Being a San Diegan all my life Ive come
acustome and possibly take for granted the VW's we find here. Moving to
Kent, just south of Seattle, I was surprised and amazed at the VW following
in the area! The VW scene in the PNW is large and amazing. Now that Ive
moved back to San Diego I try to make the Vintage/SIR weekend. The T3's Ive
seen up their are for the most part well taken care of and to boot alot of
the hard to find rubber and plastic items stay preserved in the climate. My
62 project is from Olympia and I met the PO at the Puyallup meet. The body
itself was amazingly almost rust free. Something I would have expected to
find in the desert down here. So for all that do not realise it the PNW is a
jewel that should be experianced at least once. Great people, food, scene
and VW's. BTW when is SIR show this year????
