<x-charset ISO-8859-1>The recent discussion of radios reminded me how little I know about what I have: Sapphire XVIII (w/black plastic T3 faceplate)- what years was this available? What sort of screws do I need to install this in my '71 Sq.? Blaupunkt 3 band (# 111 035 103 A) What is the model name for this one? (Pulled it from a nasty '68 KG) Blaupunkt 2 band (# 111 035 101 B) What is the approx year & name for this one? (It is 6/12V switchable, so that apparently makes it an export model, right?) The latter 2 will fit in the T3 faceplate (with minor mods), so I plan on running the 3 band, assuming it works. Did they still offer a 3 band in '71? For the record, I bought all 3 at last years' Milan, MI Bugout for a grand total of $30, an FM converter included (Yes, I know it would seem I'm gloating a bit, but when a guy Down Under sells a decent, driveable, rust free Notch for what, a couple hundred USD? & here in MI you're "lucky" to find the same car, minus floor, etc. for $1K+...well, you see where I'm going...;-) -EricH.
