I was wondering if we did decide to have someone (a fab shop maybe) manufacture these, what would it cost for how many. I don’t claim to know, I would love to hear the advice or knowledge of anyone with more experience in fabrication. I know here in central FL we have loads of fab shops and labor is probably reasonably cheap. I have been taking night classes in AutoCAD 2000, (need to get on that homework now in fact) and would volunteer to try to do some drawings if that would help. I suppose everyone has their own idea of what they would be willing to pay to buy something like this. I see that the NOS ones on Ebay seem to go for $100 to $125, without the tailpipe piece. If you do find one of these, by the time you add in the cost of some type of coating to make it last, and a tailpipe, you are getting up there in cost. If I knew I could get something similar in design to the 'Abarth repro' especially if it were in stainless, I myself wouldn’t think paying $150 to $200 was too much. Is that possible? I don’t know. Opinions please?! -----Original Message----- From: Marc Bona [mailto:chillz1@angelfire.com] Sent: Friday, February 08, 2002 10:05 PM To: Type 3 Mailing List Subject: Re: Manufacturing Co-Op (Was Abarth Muffler Personally I would be all for this and would help in any way humanly possible.
