<x-charset iso-8859-1>Does anyone know if the small bezel used on the type 1 Karmann Ghia would work on the dash opening of the Type 34? I have a Blaupunkt Frankfurt with two different face plates, and was hoping to get away with the snout and ring used in a type 1 since I have never seen a T-34 faceplate. Nope. There's a trapezoidal indentation in the dash that requires the proper shape and size plate. The '69s and I think the '68s came stock with small rounded rectangular plates, but they don't look right to my way of thinking; I believe it was an economy move toward the end of the run.
