<x-charset iso-8859-1>I have had great success with a large sheet of plastic (4x5m.) under a standard car cover that I bought from the Home Center. The cover is more or less water proof - it will keep light rain off - but the plastic proved necessary when the rain got heavier. My Type 34 is not only outside, but it has missing rear quarter windows. Now, the climate here is not exactly arctic (Israel) but we have had very heavy rain for long periods at a time, and the interior of the car has stayed completely dry. Needless to say, the plastic doesn't "breathe", so you have to remove the cover periodically, to stop the interior getting mouldy from condensation, so this solution may only be suitable in climates where you also have fairly long dry periods too. The cover also has straps which fasten it to the wheels of the car. These proved necessary in some very high winds we had recently, when the cover was blown clean off the car.
