<x-flowed>I pulled my 71 FI square engine for the first time tonight-- I'd done bugs and busses a few time before and thought the square would be easier, which basically it was except that I believe the bentley manual neglects to tell you to unscrew the front tin before you lower the engine. I ended up just removing the fuel lines from the pressure regulator and the left side in front of the cover plate as the engine was partway down and I caught on to what would happen if I went further. I looked a few more times in the manual, but couldnt find this mentioned. It looks to me that alternatively I could have removed the front tin from the engine before lowering--is that the right way, rather than my panicky ad lib disconnection?
