A locksmith told me he would make me keys and if possible rekey one so they match, to the tune of $50. Has anyone had this done before? Is that a reasonable price? Ryan If you mean by "rekeying" making one key fit all locks, then $50 is a bargain price. An emergency keying will cost you $35-$50, just making keys. To have one key fit all locks is a formidable task, but worth the money. Yes, I have had it done for about $65 for a set of keys.
