Hello Everyone! I noticed yesterday, before taking the Square to the gas station, that the gas gauge is no longer working. Bummer because it was the only gauge that did. Anyway, I first checked the main gas line to see if there were any leaks. There were none, but I noticed a few things that looked odd. First: There is a black plastic/rubber collar around the mouth where the gasoline goes in. It looks like it's there as a splash guard but about half of it has deteriorated. Will this be a difficult piece to find? Also, while looking in the same area I noticed a smaller fuel line that, at one point, connected to the larger main fuel line. This smaller fuel line has deteriorated to a point where it is no longer attached to the main line. As this does not keep the car from starting or running I am curious to know what purpose it serves? Thanks! Happy Holidays.
