When my windshield got smashed I had to drive the car for nearly 150 miles and I left all the other windows closed. You'll be suprised how little buffering there is in the car. Also it was the middle of summer and I was expecting a mouthful of files but got none in the car at all. But as soon as you open the window you are blow to pieces. I wouldn't worry nothing will pop out.
