>I agree with you as well on two points. The market for people willing to spend big bucks, over 5k is small and that on the whole T3 people are cheap. > I would agree, although I think it would be more accurate to say there is a limited market for stock cars over 5k. For custom Type 3s, I would disagree, there are a lot that have sold for over 5k. I will end up getting over $5k for my stock '67 Squareback, which I'm sure some of you will think was insane. Jason is probably correct on the value of his '63 Sunroof as I know of a few other low-mileage, clean, stock pre-1966 Notchbacks that have sold for around the $10K mark. Of course, I've also seen a bunch for around $5k, most of them were in Europe. In fact, some were ~$5k there and then ~$10K in the US. ;) >Oh yeah and Everrett just got that other 63 notch, not as nice as his square in my opinion but very nice. I havnt asked the others but I suspect we all spent under 8K to get them. > Yes, both my '63s were less than $8k. As someone who is cheap, I feel I paid too much for my '63 Notchback but I am confident I could get my money back out if necessary. It is not as nice as your '63, Jason. -- Everett '63 311, '63 361 ------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <type3-off@vwtype3.org> For more help, see http://vwtype3.org/list/
