I don't know if anyone noticed this, nor do I know if it applies specifically to their VW dashes: DashTop's fit right over the existing dash, eliminating the need for dashboard replacement or temporary patching. There's no need to remove the dash or instruments, and no need for special tools. Does that mean it's basically just a "cover" or would their use of the word "dash" refer to the metal part?
