If you go up to 1776 from 1594 that is an increase of (1776-1594)/1594 = 11.4% so I believe that you would want to increase the fuel pressure by the same percent, which would put you at something like 32-33 psi. I THINK this should work out just about right in normal driving, but the FI may do something special at idle which might give problems. If you do more than just increase displacement, like anything that improves the breathing then this also has an effect, too. For larger displacements and cams and porting you would need more pressure, but you would probably also run into more problems at the extremes (idle and full throttle) so it's hard to know when things would get annoying. I've never done any of this, except porting, so I can't make any suggestions from experience. I haven't changed anything when I ported my heads, but I think I should increase the fuel pressure about 1 psi. -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <type3-off@vwtype3.org> For more help, see http://vwtype3.org/list/
