> getting a correct Sapphire AM/FM radio (mine is just AM), and one of > those in-line antenna adapter thingies with an audio in Greg, Here's the web page for a guy that repairs vintage VW radios. If you go to the "ACVW Filesharing" section of his website, he has a schematic for modifying a Sapphire radio to accept a line in. I don't think he actually made the plans, he just has them posted on his site. The radio they used was damaged, ie. you may not want to do this to a pristine Sapphire. Oddly enough, the reason for this mod was to allow input from an iPod! It's a pretty simple mod, so if have used a soldering iron before, you shouldn't have any problems doing it. http://homepage.mac.com/stokester/dub_tunes ------ Dan Dypsky Ocean City, MD '68 FI Squareback "Jenna" '71 FI Fastback "Maggie" '69 FI Fastback (for parts) http://www.dypstick.net ------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <type3-off@vwtype3.org> For more help, see http://vwtype3.org/list/
