OK, so I futzed with some stuff and got The B. running. ðtook off the dist. cap and wiped everything down. Car doesn't start. ðChanged fuse #15, car doesn't start. ðattached jumper cable to hot wire on voltage regulator, other end attached to wire from switch to coil. Car doesn't start. ðfiddled with throttle-springy thingy, pried off lid on generator pulley; had friend turn key, car starts. Drove car in rain. Come home, shut car off. 5 minutes later, turn key to start, car doesn't start. I think moisture is getting into the electrical system somewhere, but I don't know where. Under distributor cap? Is it OK to spray WD-40 under there? Or is the moisture getting into something else?
