<x-flowed>at least for the US market there aren't any cars you can start if they are not in the "P" park or "N" neutral position i think. on my manual stick golf you cannot start unless you press down the clutch. it's all insurance against overly litigious americans (i'm too dumb to use this thing and i broke something, gotta go sue the manufacturer) :P
